With the new season comes a series of "firsts". We find out that there will be not one but TWO bachelors, and that the ladies get to pick which one they want to stay. We are introduced to Byron and Jay. They get to meet and get to know a little bit more about each other when videos are shown about both of them. The women arrive and go chill out together, all the while being spied on by the bachelors who are watching them on a TV. Then Chris Harrison tells them he's bringing out the Bachelor, right now! Out walks Jay and then to everyone's surprise, Byron comes out! Chris then explains the new concept to the women and then sets the bachelors loose on the women. Everyone mingles, some women already know who they like while others are torn between the two guys. Later everyone goes to get ready for the first women's rose ceremony. The women who know what man they want try to get others who aren't sure yet to vote for their man. The undecided girls are torn and some say they probably won't know until they actually get to the ceremony. Now at the Rose Ceremony Jay and Byron give their last pleas. Each girl is then told they will put a rose into one central box to vote for their bachelor. Those who pick Jay are to put a yellow rose in, while those who want Byron are to put in a white rose. The men are asked to turn away from the women so they don't know who votes for them. At the end Chris counts the roses: 7 yellow and 18 white. Byron is the bachelor for season six! The next morning nerves emerge as some of the women who voted for Byron are saying they're going to tell him who didn't vote for him. The girls who voted for Jay hope he won't be that shallow as to eliminate them just for that reason. That night though they are reassured by Byron himself that he isn't going to hold that against them. We see that Andrea has already fallen head over heels for Byron and that Krysta will be trouble this season as she's already starting trash-talking and says that she knows how to play this game and that no one better cross her! At the Second Rose Ceremony of the show Byron and Chris both make it clear that if any girl isn't 100% certain that they could picture themselves marrying Byron, they should NOT accept the rose as to give another girl who does feel this way a chance. Byron also is charming with the ladies by telling them he now truly knows how they feel, being at the other side earlier. Byron gives a rose to: * Cheresse * Wende * Tanya * Leina * Kelly * Jayne * Natalie * Elizabeth * Krysta * Amanda * Kristie * Susie * Cindy * Ashley * Andrea (TVj03)

In a never-before-seen interview with Cindy - taped just days after she did not receive a rose - the slighted Bachelorette has a meltdown over what she sees as Byron's missed opportunity in not selecting her. If her hot-seat interview is any barometer, Cindy's feelings for Byron are still burning. How will the Bachelor react to her emotional breakdown? Krysta's recent "In Touch" magazine layout evokes an explosion of emotion from the ladies. Not only jealous of the media attention she garnered, the ladies are still outraged by Krysta's tactless comments and inappropriate behavior during the series, and they confront her one last time. Then, Jayne must own up to her over-the-top outbursts and actions toward the other women - which seemed strangely out of character - or so the ladies thought. Finally, Jay returns to find out which of the women actually voted for him during the series' premiere. Has he found happiness since being dismissed as "The Bachelor?"
